Job Description:
Cententia is looking for a well-rounded, smart developer to help us extend our product offerings in innovative ways. You should know how to create robust production applications and develop prototypes quickly. You should have a good understanding of, and practical production experience with, enterprise application development. As part of our development team, you will participate in requirements analysis, planning and implementation of AROTRON platform modules, and you will work closely with other developers and application experts.
Responsibilities:
- Developing components for the AROTRON CRM platform (Rich Client, Web Clients, Server-side components)
- Writing unit tests, automated regression tests and tracking defects as they occur
- Building and improving Open Source components and frameworks integrated in our platform
Required Skills:
- University Degree preferably in IT or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in development of enterprise scale, mission critical software systems, using Powerbuilder, or Java, or .NET languages
- Solid software development experience and talent. Working knowledge of J2EE application servers or .NET Framework. Any experience using Open Source frameworks, is a benefit.
- Experience with distributed, multi-tier, mixed technologies, software architectures
- Good knowledge of data modeling techniques, SQL and experience working with relational databases
Preferred Skills:
- An understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming techniques, and agile development methods (test driven development, refactoring, continuous integration) is a strong asset
- Understanding of defect tracking, project management tools and wikis
- Broad knowledge of software industry and technological trends, especially web technologies
